β β β β β What looks nice is often really bad up close. The rooms look pretty but the are full of mold and smell bad. The air conditioner has probably never been cleaned and gives a disgusting smell to the entire room. The room was fitted with a small stove, fridge and sink only to realize that there were absolutely no plates, cutlery, glasses our pots/pans. Another nonexistent feature.
The stairwell and the elevator are also on a very bad shape and most of all very very dirty. On a more technical but even more serious note the hair-dryer is illegally hard-wired to the wall socket in the bathroom which prevents the user from un-plugging it in case of emergency (e.g fire).
All in all I would happily pay more for a better place next time.

β β β β β There were cockroaches everywhere.. sub standard living accommodation. I've seen squatters living in more hygienic and modern places. I cannot believe the positive reviews for this b&b and am not sure that they are genuine. I normally don't review hotels or b&b accommodation however I need to warn you to not stay at this property as it will ruin your holiday. I have stayed in average hotels and never complained but this was a disgrace of a place and needs to be taken off all holiday booking sites until all the problems are rectified and it has been inspected. The holiday companies don't care aboutique your experience and the hotel really doesn't care. It is a squalid place in a squalid area of Palermo. Please don't stay here and look for better accommodation... you have been warned. Don't let it ruin your experience of Palermo or Sicily.
